Photos of Krakow and country regions
Krakow is one of the oldest cities in Poland, established as a major tourist destination.
Royal Capital City of Krakow
Since the mid-eleventh century the Wawel Castles has been the main seat of Polish rules, and in the same century,
under the reign of King Casmir the Restorer, Krakow became the capital of a wide-spread country, and served as such until the
end of the sixteenth century, that is to the decline of the Polish State.
There are hundreds if not thousands of hotels, hostels, bed & breakfast, apartments, and all sorts of accommodations in Krakow so you shouldn’t have any problems with finding place to stay in Krakow. Average price for accommodation in Krakow is around 30 AUD a night, good hotel around 80. Its always a good idea to book your accommodation in advance. |

You'll find many restaurants, cafes, pubs, fast food, pizzerias, and various other places to eat but one of the better ones I think is restaurant Chimera (self-serve salad bar ) on street Św. Anny 3, best tasting beer in the Old Town too. The cheapest place to eat will be so called Bar Mleczny (Milk Bar), meal will cost you less than 5 AUD. All menus are written in Polish and English or you can point at what you want, but food is very tasty and filling. |
